EXTENDING CARE TO THE VULNERABLE FROM THE INNER SANCTUARY OF THE HEART
Share your insights on how we can be of service by offering shamanic support to those who are most affected by the instability that accompanies turbulence and rapid change: refugees, asylum seekers, and survivors of climate disaster, political violence, and persecution.
Here are a set of journeys to support the millions of people who are migrants or asylum seekers. First journey back to ancient ancestors in early, very primal times when humans were migrating out of Africa and into the other parts of the world. Talk to them about what “home” means to them. Why do humans seek and need a place to call “home.” Then journey to a place where migrants or asylum seekers are currently encamped and offer them whatever support or meaning or encouragement they need in this time without a place to call “home.” See if there is some way you can give them a sense of home or help them understand their place in this long history of human migration.
