Cindy is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister and student of the Franciscan mystical tradition. She’s served as a Hospice Chaplain in the Denver/Boulder area. Services and trainings include shamanic healings, monthly teachings and workshops, and in-depth online courses in subjects such as shamanic forgiveness practices and energetic boundaries.
Her professional training is as a wetlands ecologist, marine biologist, and finally on to theologian. She weaves these subjects together with Buddhist psychology, trauma-based healing theory, and the practice of offering blessing and prayer to support her clients, peers, and colleagues. She has completed the One-year, Basic Practitioner, and Advanced Practitioner Training programs with The Power Path School of Shamanism and blends these tools as a preacher, teacher, and healer.
She is a member of Society for Shamanic Practice and is a Community Leader with SSP's Shamanism Without Borders Program.
Her greatest teacher is, of course, the Earth herself and you will often find her in the Colorado Rockies snowshoeing and skiing during the winter, or walking the alpine tundra in the summer.

Are virgin births miracles or just old cultural practices being rediscovered?
Virgin births have occurred naturally for thousands of years, and the process where a woman conceives without a male partner is called “parthenogenesis”. The Greeks worshipped the goddess Diana because she gave birth without a male consort, and they named her temple the Parthenon to honour this fatherless miracle of birth.
A Peruvian tribe known as the Qero, are keepers of the secret of parthenogenesis, and Canadian shaman Maureen Walton studied with them, and has produced a wonderful book on the subject of virgin births, called “The Good Darkness.” She developed a heart to womb meditation for women who wish to move in this direction, and it actually reduces their monthly blood loss.
