Where about will you be staying in Dublin the night before? I’ll be staying with a family member outside the city, but should be able to come in and meet you at your hotel so we can connect easily.

I’m sure we could book a larger vehicle for 6 people. we’d need to decide where to meet, somewhere a taxi can pull in and wait without difficulty. Any thoughts? I’m not staying downtown the night before but can travel in. 11.30 might be a good time for pickup – maybe it would be on the early side of rush hour?

If all works fine I could also join you at 11.30am somewhere if there is still place for another one if you book a vehicle. It would be grate if we could share a vehicle!

If the following works for you, please contact me via WhatsApp on +1 (425) 941-4721 and I’ll create a “Dublin-Bellinter” group for us and get things rolling. This would be for shared transport from Dublin city to Bellinter on Monday 22-Sept, aiming to arrive between 12 noon and 1pm. With the group setup, I’ll share the options with the group via text, so we can see what works best.
I’ve done some online research and also just emailed Bellinter House for their recommendations on multi-person options for transport. I do not have any pricing info yet.
For people who would like to share transport, the following has worked for me in the past:
1) Connect in a WhatsApp group so we can chat in real-time on Mon 22-Sept. Email is too slow and disconnected. WhatsApp texts and calls are free over Wifi and chatting should cost no extra on an international plan.
2) Agree one central place and time to meet, where the transport can easily pick us up (I will research this with the transport provider)Still to be figured out:
– Best shared transport options
– Pricing (usually best to have one person handle the payment, with others paying that person in advance via e.g. venmo)
– Meeting location and timeHave I missed anything? 🙂

I’ll be organizing transport in the next couple of days because I will be traveling starting early next week and won’t have access to my computer 🙂 However I’ll let people here know what we booked in case it’s helpful. Also, for anyone who wants or needs to organize for themselves, the following is information that was provided by Bellinter House – the short list of taxis is below that.

I have attached a list of local taxi companies and bus hire companies that we use along with their contact numbers.
There is a bus that goes from Dublin City Centre every 20 minutes during the day, from about 7am until 11pm. It is the NX (Navan express), and this will take you to Navan in about 45 minutes. You can then get a taxi from Navan to Bellinter, as it is about a 15-minute drive from Navan town. The bus stop is just off O’Connell Street in Dublin. I have attached the Bus Eireann website link below so you can view.

For any new people looking to share transport: for the van I’m coordinating, the driver says we haven’t any more room, as people have luggage also – we’re already at a tight squeeze. FYI, I coordinated with Dony Quinn and his son Danny, and have found them very easy to work with (phoning got an immediate response and now we communicate on WhatsApp):
