Tending to our Earth Connection: Human’s Relationship with our Planet

This is a Shamanism Without Borders Call-to-Action

 

All humans are inherently connected to the Earth. Our bodies are of the Earth, and we are continually nourished by her, physically and energetically.  Yet collectively, as a species we have become blocked and disconnected from Mother Earth. In this tending we will address the blocks and patterns of our collective connection to the Earth that are creating environmental harm and suffering on our planet.

Please join Mary Olivar for this Shamanism Without Borders tending during Earth Day Week. From a place of neutrality, we will seek to learn what each of us can do to support and strengthen our connection with our planet Earth.

 

HOW TO PREPARE

Create a sacred ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed by other people, or distractions. You could create an altar, light a candle, and have your shamanic tools nearby if you wish. You are welcome to rattle or drum along during the shamanic journey process.

Mary Olivar is a shamanic practitioner in Austin, Texas. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Shamanic Education and Exchange, whose work perpetuates the shamanic wisdom, culture, practice, and traditional ways of life of Indigenous people worldwide. As part of the Shamanism Without Borders Leadership team, she has helped shape and guide this work. A graduate of the Power Path School of Shamanism Shamanic Studies program, Mary has completed their advanced practitioner trainings.  Mary has studied in Mexico with the Wixarika (Huichol) and in Peru with the Shipibo.  Mary specializes in using ancestral teachings and practices to guide individuals, businesses, and teams in aligning with their true purpose, potential, and power. Deeply rooted in the nurturing vibration of Pacha Mama, Mary primarily uses her voice to offer healing and tending, and she loves to guide others to connect with their own truth, voice, and expression.
