| About me |
I’ve been engaged in various forms of non-traditional and energetic healing for over 25 years. My holistic approach to life stems from my belief in the interconnectedness of all things and the principle of Ayni. The indigenous healing practices of Andean medicine women and men form the primary lineage of my shamanic healing education although I have also assimilated North American and Celtic Shamanism within my practice. After a life as an artist and corporate/college/university educator, I’ve re-awakened to the understanding that I have been called to do this work again.
I am a graduate of the Gateway School of Shamanism and have completed advanced graduate programs in dream manifestation. In early 2013, I received the Munay-ki Nine Empowerment rites based on the initiatory practices of the Q’ero shamans of Peru, and I studied in Peru with don Theo Parades, Ph.D., a renowned anthropologist and Shaman. I have participated in shamanic ceremonies in numerous sites in Peru including the Temple of Wiracocha, Pisac, Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon, and Machu Picchu. I have also participated in shamanic healing training with Sandra Ingerman, Alberto Villoldo, Jane Burns and don Oscar Miro-Quesada, and I was engaged in Hank Wesselman’s last teachings as part of his Shamanic Visionary Circle year long program.
I served as the Visiting Shaman Practitioner for Reiki Journey – Alternative and Holistic Health in Blacksburg, Virginia and assisted teaching second year students in the Gateway School of Shamanism in Charlottesville, Virginia. I currently serve as the visiting shamanic practitioner for Nibana Salt Cave and Wellness in Annapolis, Maryland where I teach “Shamanic Healing Wisdom and Practices” as part of the nationally Certified Practitioner for Holistic Health program. as well as courses in shamanic journeying, and the Munay-Ki.
I offer shamanic energy healing sessions in person and around the world virtually, as well as, land and home healing and education in shamanic practices.
