| About me |
I began my shamanic path praying to my guardian angels, and then formally with Michael & Sandra Harner & their Foundation of Shamanic Studies’ workshops. Since 1992 I have continued to learn, teach, and practice shamanism, mentored by Sandra Ingerman, and organizing weekly spiritual gatherings including our local channeler, Linda/Lee. I taught K-8 and workshops for teachers in my education profession, focusing on Brain-based Learning. I worked with Clifford Duncan, Northern Ute elder, and met Augustin, a Quechua shaman in Ecuador. My love of dance led me to study Afro-Brazilian orixas with Rosangela Silvestre, and while teaching in Bahia experienced candomble ceremonies, and “buzios” readings. My own Sacred Objects Divination basics were taught by Gogo Gretchen Crilly McKay. I have looked for leprechauns, and explored dolmens in Ireland with Tom Cowan. Layne Redmond connected me to the frame drumming world, and Imelda Almqvist to my heritage with Norse shamanism. I am interested in rock art through Carol Patterson, and Zimbabwean mbira music and dance with Rujeko Dumbutshena. Follow what brings you joy. Spirit is calling!
