    I am confused as to your sources of information about this shamanic relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus. It doesn’t show up in canonical scriptures or gnostic writings to the best I can find. Personal revelation? Also, although the Sami have a shamanic culture, my understanding is that the root word “saman” comes from the Evenk (Tungus) people of northern Siberia.
