Plant Spirit Apprenticeship Winter/Spring 2027 – Weeds, Aggressive Flora and other Regulated Plants
Some are called weeds, invasive or non-native, but all are local. Others are regulated by governments, the rule makers, ecologists and the fun police have made these plants and trees outlaws and pariahs of the plant world.
All plants belong somewhere. Who decides where that is?
The following plants and trees are those with established human relationship, and we may have followed them or they may have followed us as we have migrated. Others are native, and have become aggressive or invasive according to some. We like to think we are responsible for plants moving around and becoming more abundant, but maybe, just maybe, the plants have been in charge all along.

These plants and trees are challenging us, humanity, on some level. Now that they have our attention, how will we listen to them?
Some have been reaching out as partners in consciousness work. Sassafras has a regulated constituent that is the basis for ecstasy / MDMA, Absinthe (Wormwood) has a long history of making different levels of consciousness more accessible.
Others, are prolific and get our attention by being everywhere. Ragweed, a “weed”, has historically been an extremely beneficial plant for both humans (as food and medicine) and wildlife. Ragweed is virtually unknown to most herbalists and is vilified by governments.
All of these plants and trees are contributing their vibration, their being-ness to our landscapes in big ways. How might they be a positive force contributing to the time of change we are in now?
Our relational work this winter season is rooted in vibration. How can we notice vibration? Channel vibration? Or resonate with the vibratory nature of a plant? Of a landscape?
Why would we want to? These flora have come to teach us about the old ways about vibrating with them, as if we are them and how this work is healing during the times were are in.
This offering is BIG. It is immersive. It is for those select few that are ready.
Relationships with plant spirit are those that are held dear, and have taken significant amounts of time to develop and are rarely written about in-depth. People who do this work tend to be out of the spotlight, in remote places, in deep relationship with the land. You may be able to study with them, but they cannot reveal the deep secrets of the plant. You must study with the plant for them to be revealed to you.
This is Initiatory Work that Few Have Done
This is an experiential knowing, that is so far beyond our human vocabulary, it cannot be communicated properly to someone who hasn’t apprenticed with the plant themselves. It is a deep knowing of the energy and spirit of this plant being. Many plants demand your attention, intention and respect to reveal the deepest part of themselves and their relationships. They are really no different than we are right? We hold our deep knowings dear too. Revealed only to those we know and trust.
There is an etiquette to working with plant spirit. Each plant is very different to work with and this work requires trusted guides. There will be several guides we work with in developing relationship….. full info and schedule at link.
