About me |
At the Thirteenth Moon Center we offer live virtual shamanic healing, monthly journeying and psychopomp circles and mentoring programs. Our healing work is in unison with helpful, compassionate spirit beings for our clients’ best interest and includes clearing intrusions, remedying power imbalances, and soul retrieval. Our approach is gentle, non-invasive, and powerful in creating positive change.
In our mentoring programs you can evolve strong relationships with spirit teachers, power animals/guardian spirits, and spirits of nature to help you with guidance and healing. You’ll learn shamanic practices you can call upon in your daily life. The core shamanic methods we rely on don’t draw on any single sacred tradition. Since shamanism is the birthright of all humans, you will be mentored to draw upon knowledge from your own ancestral roots.
Susan Bakaley Marshall has a master’s degree from Pratt Institute and is a registered art therapist and shamanic healing practitioner. Before retiring as a clinical counselor, she maintained a private practice specializing in trauma recovery, end of life and loss and grief issues with a spiritual focus.
Chris Marshall is professor emeritus of anthropology. He’s taught two generations of college students about human ecology through archeology and working with the spirits of the land. He has graduate degrees from Indiana University and Cornell.
Together Susan and Chris have offered shamanic healings and classes to many hundreds of people for over 28 years. They trained with Michael Harner, and their work is influenced by their Jewish tradition and experience with masters of kabbalah.
Their life and work has a deep connection to spirits of land, place and weather, in the traditions of shamanism, mindful contemplation, and therapeutic practice.
