Leslie Conton

Leslie Conton, Ph.D, is a cultural anthropologist and professor emerita, Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Western Washington Univ. She was a Founding Faculty member/ Field Associate for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and is a Shamanic Practitioner in private practice. Over the past 45 years she has studied and worked with shamans from Papua New Guinea, China, Inner Mongolia, West Coast Native American tribes, and most recently, Nepal and Tibet, among others.
