About me

Geral is an indigenous inspired healer who holds degrees in anthropology and psychology. He provides intensive treatment sessions for persons suffering from unresolved trauma and addiction. He is based in Des Moines, Iowa.
Gerry is the author of four books that feature the wisdom of ancient shamanic practices. His most recent books include Awakening the Healing Soul: Indigenous Wisdom for Today’ World (2020) and Transcending Trauma (2014). Awakening the Healing Soul challenges healers to consider the ceremonial use of entheogens and empathogens over many conventional healing approaches.
Gerry is also a regular contributor to Sacred Hoop magazine. He travels the world discovering indigenous healing approaches that can be integrated into Western psychology and medicine.
