Joan Levergood, LEADERSHIP COORDINATOR

Joan Levergood is a Shamanic Practitioner located in Chicago, Illinois. Joan is a longtime member of the Shamanism Without Borders Leadership Team and a Board Member of the Society for Shamanic Practice. Being of service to her community as a shaman goes back to the very beginning of her shamanic training while she was working as a veterinary assistant at an animal shelter. Today Joan works with clients on a variety of life’s challenges. She specializes in unraveling and removing the unhelpful patterns of life, psychopomp or working with the dead, working with companion animals, soul retrieval, shamanic support of medical treatment and finding creative shamanic solutions to life’s sticky situations.

Mary Olivar, LEADERSHIP COORDINATOR

Mary Olivar is a Shamanism Without Borders Community Leader and a shamanic practitioner in Austin, Texas. A graduate of the Power Path School of Shamanism Shamanic Studies program, Mary has completed their advanced practitioner training, and has studied in Mexico with the Wixarika (Huichol) and in Peru with the Shipibo. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Shamanic Education and Exchange, whose work perpetuates the shamanic wisdom, culture, practice, and traditional ways of life of Indigenous people worldwide.

Deeply rooted in the nurturing vibration of Pacha Mama, Mary primarily uses her voice to offer healing and tending, and she loves to help others connect with their own voice and vocal expressions. Nancy Lankston, LEADERSHIP COORDINATOR

Nancy Lankston is a teacher, artist and tree-hugging healer..

As a child, Nancy spent hours playing in a beautiful oak forest near her home. By the time she turned 7, Nancy was head over heels in love with Mama Earth. Today she lives in the Colorado Rockies, and continues to look for any excuse to hang out with Mama Earth.

Nancy founded Sacred Earth Tribe in 2015 with the goal of inspiring others to connect with the wild Soul of Mama Earth. 

Nancy is a leadership coordinator and tender for Shamanism Without Borders.

LISHA HENGEVELD

Lisha is a Power Path trained shamanic practitioner and SWB Community Leader with the Society for Shamanic Practice. She has had the amazing opportunity to connect directly with the lineages and healing practices of the Huichol in Mexico and the Shipibo in the Amazon of Peru. She includes this deep-rooted work of song, feathers, rattle and drum, to hold powerful space for each person in their Shamanic Healing session. Lisha has a background in bodywork and trauma release and is attentive to the connectivity and relationships among our many layers of being. Tekla Drakfrende

Tekla is a Shamanism Without Borders Community Leader and has more than 25 years experience in Shamanism. She lives in Sweden surrounded by Animals on the edge of the Forest. Tekla is a Shamanic healer and teacher and as healer she works with People, Animals, Nature and Mother Earth and is the founder of Läkecirkeln, a circle of healers. At her place; Läkegården she holds classes, events, ceremonies and shamanic camps. She has studied cross-cultural shamanic healing from numerous traditions including those from Greenland, Siberia and old age Sweden. At the bid of the Spirit world she travels into the World – in Sweden and abroad to do healing Missions with intense shamanic work together with members of the circle. Tekla’s work is deeply rooted in connection of place, lives, history and the Spark of Life we all share and the Love that Nurtures it.

 

TALLY MCCORMACK

Tally McCormack is a Shamanic practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher and Evidential Medium. She completed the one year Shamanic Studies program, in addition to the basic and advanced practitioner training, with the Power Path School of Shamanism and has twice traveled to study with the Shipibo tribe of the Peruvian Amazon. Tally has volunteered for over a decade with the Reiki Fellowship of Dallas providing Reiki treatments to the community. She also worked regularly with a team of volunteers at Radical Recovery, a group providing support and Reiki treatments to cancer patients and their families. Tally lives in Santa Fe, NM and is currently holding monthly remote circles for intuitive and mediumship development.

Rev. Cindy Pincus, M.Div.

Cindy is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister and student of the Franciscan mystical tradition.  She’s served as a Hospice Chaplain in the Denver/Boulder area.  Services and trainings include End of Life Workshops for individuals and groups, Death Doula work, Altar work for the dead and living, individual spiritual consultation, and Nature-Based Journey Integration.  

Her professional training is as an wetlands ecologist, marine biologist, and finally on to theologian.  She weaves these subjects together with Buddhist psychology, trauma-based healing theory, and the practice of offering blessing and prayer to support her clients, peers, and colleagues.  She has completed to One-year and Basic Training programs with The Power Path School of Shamanism and folds all those tools into her practice as a UU minister

YANA Aryze

Yana is a Shamanic Practitioner, Natural Therapeutics Specialist, Yoga & Meditations teacher, and Intuitive Consultant. She has a background in energy and bodywork. She is the Outreach Coordinator for the Yerba Mansa Project, working to restore the vitality of The Bosque through projects that increase plant and animal diversity and protect natural environments. She is an artist, musician, and sound healer. Her paintings express the processes of sacred transformations and interconnection. She leads workshops on building your intuition, couples bonding, embodiment and sound healing. She is available for events, retreats, and personal consultations. Jason Ford

Jason Ford is a Shamanism Without Borders community leader, a visual and performance artist, and a practitioner of many healing arts, specializing in therapeutic shamanism. His work utilizes shamanic ritual and ceremony from diverse contemporary and traditional sources.
Jason is currently obtaining his Tsi Dup Yang Bod ( Tibetan soul and life force retrieval practices ) teaching degree with Chongtul Rinpoche of Yungdrung Bon . He was initially brought onto the shamanic path through the work of Michael Harner. He has also received training and recognition in Core Shamanism, traditional global animism and ancestral practices and is a mesa carrier in the Patchakuti Mesa Tradition,etc. A certified polarity therapist, acupuncturist and herbalist, Jason also utilizes holistic diagnostics and treatments based on  European, Chinese, Indian, and Tibetan traditional medicine.

Amanda Hovey

Amanda is a performing artist, photographer/graphic artist, and ceremonialist. As a shamanic practitioner, she focuses on removing blocks that no longer serve the higher self nor the collective thus opening the door to one’s medicine through true life’s work. As a parent, she values the many opportunities for teaching and integrating the shamanic path with her children and strives to continue these teachings globally, cultivating this path for our future generations.

Vicki Snyder-Young

Vicki Snyder-Young is a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher and Professional Psychic Medium, located in Rochester, NY.  She is a Shamanism Without Borders Community Leader.  Vicki is a graduate of the Four Winds Society where she studied Peruvian Shamanism. She has also had training in Core Shamanism, Pachakuti Mesa Tradition and the Rainbow Lineage of Puma Fredy. Vicki is an active  member of Wind Daughters Bear Tribe Panther Lodge and the Medicine Wheel teachings.  She is currently on a Journey Around The Wheel combining North and South American Traditions. Her mission is to be a bridge between the medicines and create continuity between them.  Mitakuye Oyasin – we are all related.

Vicki’s passion is working with the land and all it’s children.  She is interested in helping others to find Shamanism and to learn the healing and freedom it can bring through the connection to all that is. She offers various events, such as journey circles, drum circles, New Moon and Full Moon Ceremonies. She works with groups and individuals, assisting and supporting them on their healing journeys.  Vicki works in person and remotely.
