TENDING TO TIGRAY: Call-to-Action
March 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm MDT
FreeA Humanitarian Crisis in Ethiopia
Tuesday, March 16th | Led by Lisha Hengeveld
The Tigray region of Northern Ethiopia is undergoing violent conflict. The scenario there includes destruction of homes and farmland, many thousands of refugees and millions lacking basic resources, war crimes, human rights violations, genocide, and famine. Please join us in seeing how we may be of service to the peoples and land of Tigray and surrounding areas. Powerful change happens in the world when we attend to what needs addressing within ourselves.
Tending to Tigray ceremony will use the Shamanism Without Borders process to illuminate what needs attention within ourselves and the hyperlocal spaces in which we live. As we bring balance to these inner spaces, our steadiness lays the foundation for equilibrium to expand naturally into the world around us.
To prepare, create sacred ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed by other people or loud noises. Make a small altar, light a candle, and have your drum, and rattle available. Make sure your place is comfortable and allow yourself to be fully present.
**Zoom call info will be emailed with a reminder the day before and the day of the ceremony. If you have an active membership with the Society for Shamanic Practice or have signed up for a Call-to-Action event in the past, you will be automatically invited to all future Call-to-Action events and do not need to sign up again**
