Hank Wesselman, PhD, was a paleoanthropologist, author, and shamanic teacher. His books include the Spiritwalker Trilogy that includes: Spiritwalker: Messages from the Future, Visionseeker, and Medicinemaker: Mystic Encounters on the Shaman's Path. Though he has published several books he is best known for this Spiritwalker Trilogy, one where he received spontaneous visions of 5000 years in the future following the collapse of Western civilization due to global warming. Within the story he envisions a widespread spiritual awakening he dubbed the “Modern Mystical Movement."
He has also authored other books and audio programs including: The Shaman's Path, Journey To The Sacred Garden: A Guide to Traveling in the Spiritual Realms, Spirit Medicine, Awakening to the Spirit World: The Shamanic Path of Direct Revelation, The Re-Enchantment: A Shamanic Path to a Life of Wonder, The Bowl of Light: Ancestral Wisdom from a Hawaiian Shaman.
Until 2021, he lived in Hawaii with his wife, Jill Kuykendall. Together they led shamanic training workshops and divided their time between northern California, Oregon, and the Big Island of Hawaii. He had an illustrious career as an anthropologist, shamanic practitioner, author, and college professor. He passed peacefully on February 15, 2021.
