Tending to Weather Imbalance

by Jun 30, 2025

Please join us for a Shamanism Without Borders (SWB) tending event.

Weather on our Earth is showing signs of imbalance and stress. Extreme storms, wild temperature swings, wildfires, floods and droughts are increasingly common.  Habitat destruction and climate change are dramatically affecting weather worldwide.

Let’s gather together to journey and ask how we can help restore balance to our weather patterns.

Join Nancy Lankston, Shamanism Without Borders Community Leader from a place of neutrality to explore how we can tend to this issue.

HOW TO PREPARE

Create a sacred ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. You could create an altar, light a candle, and have your shamanic tools nearby if you wish. You are welcome to rattle or drum along during the shamanic journey process.

This is a comment from Ellen Rosner who listened to the recording.
    Good morning,
I enjoyed the journey yesterday, I had to leave early due to an emergency.
I did not get a chance to share my message, so I feel called to share..
    If you will indulge me.
I looked forward greatly to the session, because I have been following the climate crisis very closely for some 20 years…
The message came to me very clearly:
“We know what causes the collapse of the ecosystems. Civilization does. Since we are unlikely, indeed unable to eliminate civilization – it is a fact in this era of modernity – no amount of journeying is going to make the tides change direction, or make the sun change its path.
Like these, collapse of ecosystems is a physical fact, and no amount of journeying affects that..
These are creations of Nature and we, of all people, must respect that.”

So I said, what is to be done?

The anwer: “We must learn to live in a world which in its current manifestation is impossible. It cannot continue. It cannot hold. It is done. Cataclysmic changes are coming, and not just for some far-off island, —
for we in the West, “developed” regions..
So the question we must ask, especially those of us on the journey- is
    a. How do we hold that sentiment?
    b. Given the truth of that, how do we relate to our fellow humans, more-than-humans, and the Earth?
How do we act, believe, practice, relate, pray, draw, create, listen — how do we do all these, under conditions we — nor any human — has ever experienced? [in modern times]”

    well that was my message.
I look forward to meeting you all again on the next journey…
