Tending to Food Waste

by May 22, 2025

Please join us for a Shamanism Without Borders (SWB) tending event led by SWB Community Leader, Vicki Snyder-Young.

Food waste is an ongoing and increasing problem affecting many countries. In the US, food waste has grown significantly over the years and is now 1/3 of all food being produced. Food waste impacts the environment, such as, greenhouse gas emissions, depleting water supply,  and increased use of fertilizers which affects the soil. Join Vicki Snyder-Young from a place of neutrality to explore how you can tend to this issue that is affecting the entire global community.

HOW TO PREPARE

Create a sacred ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. You could create an altar, light a candle, and have your shamanic tools nearby if you wish. You are welcome to rattle or drum along during the shamanic journey process. If you have anything to share after your journey, please post it in the comments section at the bottom of the page below.
