Shamanic Apprenticeship: The Healing Ways of the Andean Paqos
September 19 @ 6:00 pm - September 22 @ 2:00 pm CDT
$680 – $700The Joyful Journey is pleased to offer its 11th shamanic apprenticeship starting this September 2024 and ending in November 2025. This is a unique opportunity to learn the essential principles, codes, and healing practices of the Inkan paqos (medicine people) who live in the Andes Mountains of Peru. This wisdom helps you to access spiritual guides and healing energies for your wellness and personal growth. You may also use these practices to heal others.
The curriculum is more comprehensive and detailed than most apprenticeships, and it comes from a direct lineage to the Qanchi tradition in the Andes of Peru. You will also learn how paqos do these essential healing practices:
- accessing healing spirits and receiving messages
- releasing hucha (negative energy from thoughts or traumatic experiences)
- manifesting healing medicine from higher dimensions
- retrieval of soul loss and theft
- breaking contracts and disconnecting from unwanted seq’es (energy cords)
- depossession of intrusive spirits (human or supernatural)
- unravelling spells and curses
- healing ancestral trauma and past life trauma
There are several benefits of taking the apprenticeship:
- to practice an authentic, comprehensive tradition with knowledgeable instructors
- to heal your own wounds on multiple levels and to heal others
- to track disruptive energies so you can avoid them or disengage from them
- to interact with people and situations in an easier, calmer, and confident way
- to receive hands-on instruction, practice, and ceremonies during the weekend retreats.
- to form meaningful relationships and receive support from a trusted group of like-minded individuals. Confidentiality, trust, and compassion are key elements of this circle.
- Extensive handouts are provided.
The classes are taught in six weekend retreats over a 14-month period. Students should attend all six retreats. The dates are Sept. 19-22; Nov. 14-17; Feb. 6-9, 2025; May 15-18, 2025; July 31-Aug. 3, 2025, and Nov. 6-9, 2025.
