SSP’s Summer Solstice Ceremony

SUMMER SOLSTICE CEREMONY

Join husband and wife Dr Karen Ward and John Cantwell, Ireland’s foremost teachers and ceremonialists in their native Irish Celtic lineage, as they share this Summer Solstice Medicine Wheel Ceremony, Calling in the South on Sunday, June 21st at 3:00 PM Mountain Time.

Imbas is an ancient Irish word referring to divine illumination and we still use this word for the profound healing ritual of bringing light where there was once trom or heaviness/density in the energy field of a human at Slí An Chroí. At Summer Solstice, Imbas is a naturally occurring light bath in our cosmos and it is important to make time and space to bathe energetically.  Come allow Father Sun illuminate all aspects of yourself, the parts you may consider already illuminated and those in shadow at this auspicious time.

This one of four quarterly Medicine Wheel Ceremonies available only to members of the Society for Shamanic Practice.

HOW TO PREPARE

Create sacred ceremonial space in a quiet solo place. You may want to make a small altar, light a candle and/or have your drum or rattle available, as well as your journal and pen if you like. Make sure your place is comfortable to allow yourself to be fully present.
