SSP Northeast – 2021 Gathering – Honoring and Connecting to the Spirit of Water

Gathering Vision Statement:  To weave our individual threads of experience and practices into a collective network that is actively engaged both locally and globally in the pursuit of justice, liberation, and support for our planet and all it’s creatures. 

We are really looking forward to Gathering. This year our conference takes place at the Canonicus Camp and Conference Center.  Meadowwood Conference Center is the main lodge where our meals and meetings will take place. There is a meeting space for 75-125 people, a dining room and up to 3 break out spaces available.   The Meadowwood Conference Center is fully heated for year round usage. Attached to Meadowwood is  Pierce Lodge where there are comfortable bedrooms, complete with bathroom and the Lodge is heated for year round use.

FRIDAY, September 17 
Registration 3:00

Supplies needed: we are asking each participant to bring a bowl, cup, gourd or other vessel that can hold about 1 cup of water. These will be placed on the altar so please leave them at registration. We are also asking each participant to bring a candle for Saturday Night’s Ritual. This can be a tea light or votive in a ball jar or a pillar candle or taper with a holder ( you might want to check the weather before you leave to see how windy it might be)

Supplies needed:
Any items that you would like to place on the altar, Rattles and drums, journals and pens. Each participant is asked to bring a cup or bowl that can hold about 1 cup of water. This portion of the program will be held indoors, so please bring what you need to be comfortable.
