A Guided Healing Shamanic Journey Is..

both similar to, yet very different from a guided meditation.

Journeying is an active practice, and I guide journeys in a way that opens a safe, healing space for you to ask your spirit guides for the information, wisdom, guidance & healing that you are ready to receive as you seek to grow and evolve as a human.

Often, all of this good stuff comes through in a beautiful, joyful, peaceful way. Sometimes the journey unfolds in a way that asks you to roll up your sleeves & do the work you need to do so that you can create the changes that you wish to see in your life. This is probably the biggest reason why most people in the West turn to shamanic journeying- to intentionally change their lives.

Many feel a sense of lightness, clarity & empowerment during & after these guided journeys, although this is a very personal practice & your experience will likely reflect where you are in life at this time.

Some journeys are extremely peaceful, loving & joyful, some are like receiving intense teachings from our spirit guides. Some journeys can feel like very serious & powerful initiations.

After the journey, we’ll gather for a potluck social—a perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded community members. You’ll also have time to share your experience, ask questions, or receive interpretation support if desired. Additionally, I’ll share resources and groups to support your ongoing journey and future shamanic experiences.

Bring

  • Journal and pen
  • If you want to join the potluck, please bring a dish to share
  • Optional: yoga mat and/or blanket to lay on the floor to journey
  • Optional: an eye covering (this can be helpful for blocking out light as we journey)

Got Kids?

Kids that are ready to journey (or sit quietly to draw or color) are welcome. Spiritually in-tune kids as young as 5 have successfully journeyed with us several times.

If you’re not sure how your child will respond, please grab a spot near the door in case you need to exit early. You’re welcome to hang out and wait for the group to join you in the dining area until the journey wraps up.

Creating a Safe Container

To foster a strong community, it’s essential to establish a safe container, which paves the way for deeper, more authentic connections.

  • Sales & Marketing: We value authentic community building. Sales and marketing activities should be avoided. This is not a space to talk about your business, to hand out flyers, etc. Doing so creates doubt and confusion around the “marketer’s” intention and authenticity for true connection.
  • Privacy & Confidentiality: All personal information shared during gatherings, including discussions, group work, and contact lists, will remain confidential. Our contact lists are for community building only and will not be used for marketing or shared outside the group. Photography, audio, or video recording is generally not allowed unless announced; any exceptions will be discussed in class.
  • Intentional Communication: The space that we co-create is a sacred one. It is here that we can share any and all of our spiritual experiences and ideas, where we can connect on a deeper, more vulnerable level. To honor this gift of intentional space, please refrain from topics of politics and such during our gatherings.
  • Recreational use of substances: should be avoided the day of our gathering. For your own spiritual development, refraining from substances for 24 hours prior, and after, is also recommended.
